The majority of Americans don’t see the point of being part of a church. A big reason is church leaders and church people have forgotten the point of the Church. It’s time to stop going to church and reimagine what the Church can be.
Main Ideas:
[00:52] Church seems pointless because the Church has forgotten its point.
[01:59] We were created to live stories of meaning and purpose.
[02:15] The Church was designed to help us discover our own story within the story of God.
[05:06] The Church is a group of people on a mission to show that God is FOR all people.
[08:27] The local church has become simply a dispenser of religious teachings and services.
[10:07] It’s time to stop “going to church” and start being the Church.
[11:31] The role of the local church is to equip the Ekklesia to discover and carry out their own stories… together.
[13:04] We want to purposely help you discover your God-given purpose.
[21:56] When we follow Jesus we discover our role in the story of humanity.

[20:21] Ask, “How does my story fit within God’s overall story?”
[20:31] Start getting equipped.
